I planned to go to Washington Square Park to take some pictures of people and characters, unaware of the historical change that would soon  happen . I woke up to the news on June 24th with headlines of the overturning of Roe V Wade . Not only was I completely shocked but I remember feeling sad about how the Supreme Court decided to handle things . Most of all, I was angry . Having your rights taken away just like that by the Supreme Court made me feel, as a society, we were taking a huge step backwards . My dad and I ended up going to Washington Square Park, unaware of the protest that will take place . I had my camera with me and wanted to document this important event in history . Faces of confusion, fear and anger sparked throughout everyone there . After capturing some shots , I joined the protest with my father.
